Paul Oakenfold in Cuba: EDM, Jazz & Funk to take over Havana

On December 5th, DJ icon Paul Oakenfold, a three-time Grammy Award and two-time World Music Awards nominee, will take over the Fabrica de Arte Cubano (FAC), Havana’s hippest hangout. An eclectic crowd of Cuban millennials will enjoy EDM, Jazz and Funk as Oakenfold will be joined by DJs Zen Freeman and John Acquaviva, and Cuba’s top drummer, Yissy Garcia, most talented trumpet player, Yasek Manzano, and the uber hip and so funky Cimafunk, the hottest Cuban band of 2018.

The concert marks nearly two decades since Oakenfold first played in Havana, immortalized in the rave-scene classic, “1999 Live from Joni’s, Havana, Cuba.” As an artist motivated by the beat within his surroundings, Oakenfold seeks new terrains, and revels in bringing his sound to unexpected locations. The musical talent that will accompany him and the magical scene at FAC will make for an unforgettable evening.

The concert marks the first collaboration for Havana House, an organization promoting Cuban art, and HabanaLive, a CET luxury travel & event production company.
